Inclusive Team Culture
Team dynamics play a major role in how diversity and inclusion efforts take shape in alignment with company culture, policies, procedures and codes of conduct. A team needs to render their feedback, process past experiences and want to understand the context of new plans (or changes). Effective leadership ensures the process is a shared one for ownership. Sometimes this can involve facilitation of dialogue sessions using techniques as a mediator specifically aimed at constructive team dialogue on matters around inclusion and belonging or DEI planning. It is additionally possible one of the Partners conduct specific team building sessions to consolidate the process.
Building Inclusive Teams can be carried out through co created sessions learning about emotional intelligence, psychological safety, interpersonal connection, culture and harnessing the diversity of the team.
